Morning Prayer: Juneteenth

June 19 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am

end of slavery in US

During our regular Wednesday Morning Prayer on June 19th, we will celebrate the end of Slavery.  Pennsylvania was the first state to abolish slavery in 1780.  This traditional African American celebration is now a federal holiday.  Banks, the post office and government offices are closed.  Saint Luke will be open to worship with a service of Morning Prayer and reflections on the end of slavery.

Please join us in person in the Saint Francis Room at Saint Luke, or online through Zoom.  Our worship leader will be the Reverend Martha Harris, Priest in Charge.
