Morning Prayer: Bernard of Clairvaux, Monastic and Theologian 1153

Join us for our weekly service of Morning Prayer, Rite II, led by Brother David Rutledge.   We will learn about Bishop Bernard of Clairvaux, Monastic and Theologian, 1153.  Bernard, fiery defender of the Church in the 12th century, preached love for God “without measure.”   He is credited with writing familiar hymns, including “Jesus, the very thought of thee.”
