Join us on Thursday March 28 at noon for a simple potluck luncheon of meatless dishes that were popular during Jesus’ time. After lunch in the Undercroft, we will process to the Sanctuary for a solemn service of Holy Eucharist in honor of Jesus’ last meal with his disciples. The service will include foot washing for those who wish to participate. On the night before his death, Jesus set an example for his disciples by washing their feet, an act of humble service.
Scripture lessons are:
Exodus 12, 1 Corinthians 11, John 13 and Psalm 116.
Following the service the altar will be stripped in preparation for Good Friday.
All are welcome.
