Ash Wednesday: Solemn Service of Holy Communion

Begin your observance of a Holy Lent with a service of Holy Communion and ashes.  The solemn service includes self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting and self-denial, and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word.  Ashes will be distributed following Communion to all who want to received.

The Reverend Martha Harris, Pastor, will serve as the preacher and presider.  The service follows the liturgy found in the Book of Common Prayer, beginning on page 264.  All are welcome.
