Taize Worship – Advent and Special Presentation

Join John Landis, musician and the Rev. Martha Harris as worship leader during our monthly service of Taize worship and prayer.  Enter our candlelit sanctuary and find your inner peace – a welcome respite from the busyness of December.  Light a candle for a loved one and offer prayers for those in need of assistance.

Following the service, join us in the Undercroft for a light reception and special presentation by Joana Fitz, an 18 year old from Marietta who recently returned from six weeks serving as a volunteer in Taize, France.  She will be joined by her parents, Tabea and Chris Fitz, who met in Taize and have been married for 22 years.  Joana will share some stories and pictures from her recent experience in Taize.  If you have always wondered what life is like in the religious community of Taize, France, you won’t want to miss this special presentation.  All are welcome!
