19th Sunday after Pentecost: Bishop Scanlan Visits Saint Luke

All are welcome to join us when the Rt. Reverend Audrey Scanlan visits Saint Luke.  Bishop Scanlan has served as our Diocesan Bishop since 2015.  She will be leading worship, preaching and celebrating Holy Communion the day after our Diocesan convention meets in Scranton for the last time,  Effective January 1, 2026, the Dioceses of Central Pennsylvania and Bethlehem will merge into the Episcopal Diocese of the Susquehanna.  Come and learn more about this historic reunification of our two dioceses and hear her vision for what the new Diocese will do.

Bishop Scanlan will welcome new members of Saint Luke, through transfer and confirmation, and baptize a young child who is a granddaughter of one of our new members.  God is making all things new at Saint Luke.  Come and be a part of this spirit-filled, welcoming community.

Coffee hour begins at 9:30 am in the Undercroft.  All are welcome.
