Third Sunday of Advent: Holy Eucharist

The third Sunday of Advent is sometimes referred to as Gaudete Sunday.  Gaudete is a Latin word that means “rejoice.”  This is the midpoint of Advent.  The pink candle, representing joy, is lit in the Advent wreath today.  The Reverend Martha Harris, Rector of Saint Luke, will preach and preside.
